ADVENT FAQ:

What colors are you dyeing?

The Advent will fade through these four colors: lavender/purple, pink, red, and black. There will be 24 x 20 gram mini skeins and a full 100 gram skein.

What bases/yarn are you offering?

  • Classic 75% Superwash Merino + 25% Nylon (Fingering and DK weight)
  •  Sparkle 70% Superwash Merino + 20% Nylon + 5% Stillena (Fingering Weight)

 

How many yards are in the advent?

Fingering weight classic: minis 2,232 yards + full skein 463 yards

Fingering weight sparkle: minis 2,088 yards + full skein 437 yards

DK weight classic: minis 1,176 yards + full skein 245 yards

*My sparkle base is not available on DK.

 

Can I use a discount code?

Discount codes can not be applied to advents.

 

Besides mini skeins will there be anything else in the box?

In the Full Box option there will be some extras and a Make-Along (hosted on Discord).

In the 24 minis option there will only be mini skeins 1 through 24 -- no extras.

 

When does it ship?

Within 2-5 business days.

FAQ ON BASES AND WEIGHTS

Thoughtfully crafted with professional acid dyes, and thoroughly rinsed. Slight bleeding may occur on the first wash, especially with deep, saturated colors.

Due to the nature of the hand-dyeing process every skein is unique and may cause colors to vary in distribution. If using more than one skein in a project I recommend alternating skeins.

CARE: Gently hand wash with cold water, lay flat to dry.

PHOTOS: Please be aware that some monitor displays may vary. Some photos may be lightly color-corrected to display each skein's truest colors and shades. As with all hand-dyed yarns, dye lots may vary but closely resemble the photo as listed.
